Design a Do-It-Yourself manual of how to build a rainwater catchment system in homes:
The DIY manual we envision is intended to assist homeowners in Mexico to design and install their own RWH system. Because much of our target population comes from low-income communities and have very low levels of education, the manual should present the information in a format that is both complete and comprehensive, and also usable to low-literacy persons. It should have both text and illustrations/photographs, and the illustrations/photographs should be enough to convey most of the information. Artistic creativity is very encouraged! Work on logo/pamphlet/promotional material design for marketing purposes:
website, conference items or promotional items, design work for educational packets, and various design work for fundraising packets. These include making text and image materials designed to promote the products and systems within low-income communities, as well as upper end systems for wealthier populations
Desired skills:
- Graphic design or film students are highly preferred, however someone who can demonstrate to have these skills will also be considered.
- Conversational level in Spanish
Main Responsibilities:
- Create a DIY manual of rainwater catchment systems and various educational and fundraising packets.
- Conduct interviews with project leaders and our clients.
- Create logos for our products.
- Help maintain the web page design.
