IRRI-Mexico, created in April of 2003, provides project management, research and development, and consulting withinthe fields of developmental technology, renewable energy, and water management. IRRI-Mexico holds courses, workshops and training sessions on water resource use, renewable energies, and responsible resource development.
IRRI-Mexico was inspired by Professor Roy McAlister, president and founder of the American Hydrogen Association (AHA) in Phoenix, Arizona. The AHA, whose headquarters is located in at Arizona State University, was created at the end of the 1970’s with the purpose of spreading and promoting the use of hydrogen as a clean alternative to fossil fuels.
IRRI-Mexico offers support to communities and organizations who wish to improve environmental interaction through research, education, and project consulting and implementation. Our projects promote economic, social, and political policies which encourage sustainable development and resource use, with a focus on energy and water management.
